UNWIND YOUR DRAWING SKILLS
May 9
This class will emphasize the different kinds of line and how they direct your eye around the artwork. Our still life will create a focal point using directing lines. Bring your sketchbook and pencil.

Paper Making
June 26 and July 3
A two day class on June 26 and July 3 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day. Day one will have the students make hand-made paper with decorative add-ins and deckled edges. On Day two students will prepare dry pages for use.

June Summer Camp
Wild Beasts: Animals in Folktales, Myth and Art
June 3-6
Wild or tame, animals have always fascinated people, and students in this camp will create art works that celebrate many kinds of animals through a variety of 2 and 3-D Art techniques. These techniques will include those of the French artists known as the “Fauves” or “Wild Beasts” for their use of bold, wild color. Learn about these and other artists, as well as the brave and fabulous creatures to be found in stories and real life, and let the animals inspire you to create your own bold and wild works of Art in this fun summer camp.

AP Studio and Advanced Art Workshop
July 16 and 17
Taught by certified AP Art teachers. AP Studio will allow you to refine the theme of your sustained works and get a start on your 15 works. In Advanced Art you will try something new and explore a variety of new media for inclusion in your artistic tool kit.
